1 credit corresponds to 1 ~30 second audio track. Each generation currently generates 2 tracks, so each generation (including remixes/extensions) costs 2 credits.
Credits can only be used for song generation. If you run out of credits, you will be unable to generate new tracks or cover art until more credits are purchased.
